I’ve been part of Archipel for almost the entire journey so far and now have over five years of experience advising on Dutch tax. Working in a fast-growing boutique from early on has shaped how I approach my work: stay sharp on the technicalities, but always connect them to what a client is actually trying to achieve.
My practice is largely focused on innovative and technology-driven businesses. Over the past years I’ve supported founders, startups, scaleups, and more established innovation-led companies with questions that come up when you are building something new – from setting up the right structure, to safeguarding IP, to preparing for international growth.
I enjoy working alongside founders and teams who are pushing boundaries, and helping make sure the tax side keeps up with their pace, their funding rounds, and their international ambitions. A key area in my work is cross-border advisory between the Netherlands and the UK. I advise clients who operate, expand, or invest across both jurisdictions, translating cross-border complexity into clear choices and workable structures.
The goal is simple: reduce uncertainty, avoid unpleasant surprises, and make tax feel like a tool rather than a speed bump. Not a glamorous tool, perhaps – but a useful one. At Archipel, we like advice that’s practical, direct, and actually usable on Monday morning.
That’s exactly what clients can expect when working with us!
