I’ve always valued clarity over noise. No fluff, no vague language, and definitely no 20-page memos that don’t answer the question. My approach is simple: honest guidance and a clear path forward. Whether it’s cross-border issues, structuring a business, or applying for R&D grants and incentives, I make complex matters understandable.
On a personal note, I grew up in Rotterdam but eventually my career at Archipel persuaded me to move to The Hague, which is slowly starting to feel like home. And, being able to walk to our office in The Hague is also a huge plus.
Beyond tax, I’ve had a lifelong interest in technology. in fact, I even ran my own robotics & AI company for a year, which means I can actually code. That’s why I’ve become the unofficial “IT manager” at Archipel (yes, I genuinely get excited about our lightning-fast office internet). Jokes aside, this tech-savvy side helps me assist clients in applying for Dutch tax grants and incentives for innovative businesses. Turns out, all those hours gaming and tinkering with computers actually paid off (sorry, Mom!).
