“Born and raised in The Hague, I moved to Leiden to study Tax Law and later ended up in Amsterdam, where I now live and work as a Tax Analyst within the Global Mobility Desk.”
In my day-to-day work I mainly deal with Dutch payroll tax matters. I help companies with wage tax questions and other employment-related tax issues, both in a domestic and international context. This includes advising on cross-border employment situations, the application of the 30% ruling and other practical tax questions that arise when employees live or work in different countries. I also enjoy working on employee incentive plans, such as share or option programmes, and the tax questions that come with them.
During my studies, I completed an internship at the Dutch employers’ organisation, where I worked on initiatives aimed at improving the fiscal climate for businesses in the Netherlands. This experience further strengthened my interest in the intersection of tax, business, and politics.
Outside of work I like to get on my bike, put my AirPods in and cycle around Amsterdam while listening to a good podcast. It’s a nice way to clear my head after a day of tax.”
