“I enjoy analyzing complex tax regulations and contradictory jurisprudence and translating them into clear and practical advice“
My name is Tien Nguyen. At Maastricht University, I obtained a Master’s degree in International and European Tax Law with a specialisation in Customs and Supply Chain Taxation. Even though I still need to finish my second Master in Indirect taxation, I decided to work full-time at Archipel. During my studies, I gained experience through several internships at the Indirect Tax departments of some big law firms as well as at Big 4. The personal approach of Archipel is what appeals to me in my decision to choose my first full-time position.
I am highly motivated to apply my expertise in indirect taxation, particularly in VAT and customs, where European harmonization plays a crucial role. The dynamic nature of this field, influenced by constant developments at the EU level, makes it both challenging and exciting. I enjoy analyzing complex tax regulations and contradictory jurisprudence and translating them into clear and practical advice.
