Taxes should be paid for society to work, no disagreement there. However, I do feel strongly that governments and tax authorities have the responsibility to not make paying those taxes a limiting factor in doing business through unnecessary complexity. Therefore, as a tax advisor, I strive to support my clients navigate the complexities of tax legislation and review the tax authorities positions in the process.
I have been trained in the field of taxation with an accent on global mobility and wage tax for several years in one of the Big-4 firms. During this time, I have supported multinational clients as well as family businesses. Besides my tax practice, I publish articles in leading tax literature and I am a lecturer in Dutch tax law in the Hague.
